Ongar Loam

Our own test and county quality cricket loam for construction or top dressing.

Screened to 4mm.

Ongar Loam™ is a heavy clay loam which rolled under the correct soil moisture conditions gives hard wicket a consistent pace and bounce. Also naturally fertile for healthy grass growth.


ONGAR LOAM™ has been used to construct test wickets at grounds such as The Oval, Lords, Edgbaston, Trent Bridge, the Rose bowl, Cardiff and Headingly. Ongar Loam™ has even been used to construct pitches internationally in Dubai, the Bahamas, Denmark and Holland.

Delivery is calculated at checkout, and based on your delivery postcode. You can see these charges prior to confirming your order and entering your payment details.

You can also arrange collect from our depot, please contact us for more information.


We aim to get deliveries out within a week, however if you have a preferred date in mind please include this in the notes and we will try our best to accommodate this for you.


25kg bags and bulk bags are delivered on a pallet.
