It is estimated it takes over 1000 years for mother nature to create just one inch of topsoil so we take great care in treating our soils with the upmost attention. Topsoil differs significantly from the sub soil as it is where the nutrients, micro-organisms and other organic matter is found. The depth and nutrient content of topsoil will vary from place to place but will usually be somewhere between 10 and 25cm deep. Adding a fresh layer of our high quality topsoil to boost the nutrient content of your soil before seeding or planting will give your plants the best chance of growing strong and healthy.
